Tech Startup Interview: Bryon Finke of Furnishly

Podcast #12 of 50, Bryon Fike of Furnishly offered great insights into the experience of a newly growing startup. Bryon's business, on top of offering high quality products, is also sustainable. As all products are second hand, it offers greenies like me an opportunity to buy beautiful, pre-loved furniture.

While not technically a social enterprise, this business has a very clear benefit to the green economy. Their pitch: Furnishly makes buying and selling furniture easy, fun and simple as pie.

From their website: At Furnishly, our mission is to create the first ever digital consumer marketplace dedicated to the sale of vintage and second-hand furniture.

Further, All Furnishly users have the ability to create new furniture listings using our simple three step process. The listings are then sent to our support team for approval. Once approved, the listings are indexed within our marketplace and are ready for sale! All purchases executed through our site are subject to a 10% commission fee. Purchase for which we provide transportation services, the standard commission fee is 30%.
